I’ve spent over a decade building the invisible layer that makes e-commerce work — the real-time pipelines, event streams, and analytics infrastructure that let a business understand itself as it happens. Most of that time has been at Fabletics, where I’ve grown from Senior Developer to Senior Staff Software Engineer.
My most-cited project: helping launch SavageXFenty by decomposing a legacy monolith into a clean API — decoupling back-end from front-end and giving the new brand the scalability it needed. More recently, I completed a year-long platform migration that shipped silently — which is the highest compliment in systems work.
Day-to-day I work with Kafka, Flink, KSQL, and Golang to keep real-time event collection, anomaly detection, and monitoring running smoothly across our platform. Outside the terminal: sailing regattas at California Yacht Club, hockey, travel, and a slow but sincere attempt to learn Italian.
